CONFERENCE INTRODUCTION

On June 3, 2020, the Government promulgated the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030 with 3 pillars: Digital Government, Digital Economy, and Digital Society, giving priority to promoting transformation. No. 8 key economic sectors. To accompany the Government in promoting the implementation of the National Digital Transformation Program quickly, synchronously and effectively in all sectors, fields, central and local, contributing to economic development – In the new period of society, VINASA organizes the Program “Vietnam – ASIA DX Summit 2024”.

Vietnam – ASIA DX Summit 2023 is organized on 24th – 25th May, 2023 with Government support of the Ministry of Information and Communications Vietnam, Ministry of Industry and Trade.  Under the theme: themed “Driving Economic Growth enabled by Digital Data Mining and Smart Connectivity,”  The forum welcomed the active participation of over 2,000 domestic delegates from 35 provinces and municipalities, as well as delegates from 12 countries and economies in the region including Senior Government Leaders, Ministries, Departments, City Governors from Provinces, CEO, CIO, DTO, Leaders of companies, organizations in Vietnam and ASIA.

The Summit featured an Opening Session and five specialized panel sessions on the following topics: Digital infrastructure, data connectivity and security, DX in Vietnam – ASIA and cooperation opportunities, Connecting and sharing data to develop Digital Government, Building a digital financial platform – Digital banking, Data infrastructure and economic linkages, ICT cooperation between Vietnam and ASEAN economies. The sessions provided updates, shared knowledge and experiences, and facilitated discussions on ways to promote public-private partnership, data sharing, and database utilization for Vietnam’s economic sectors while enhancing international connectivity and cooperation.
