John (Jong Uk) CHOI got his PH.D., from University of South Carolina, USA. When he came back to Korea, he worked at KIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology) as an AI director and then moved to SangMyung University to teach computers (1991-2015). While he was teaching students, he developed an audio watermarking technology. With an investment offer of Samsung Electronics for the technology, he founded a technical start-up, MarkAny. He is CEO of MarkAny and also serves ASOCIO as a Vice Chairman.
